Someone to keep it running
A website is not finished at launch. Hosting expires, dependencies go out of date, prices change and forms quietly stop sending. A care plan means that is my job rather than yours.
Essential

- Hosting and SSL certificate
- Daily off-site backups, kept 30 days
- Uptime monitoring, and I fix outages
- Security patches and dependency updates
- 15 minutes of changes a week (1 hour a month)
- Email support, reply within 2 working days
Standard
Most chosen£99per month
The usual choice. Enough time each month to keep pages, prices and photos current.
- Everything in Essential
- 30 minutes of changes a week (2 hours a month)
- Monthly speed and accessibility check
- Content and image updates done for you
- Broken link and form testing
- Email support, reply within 1 working day
Priority
£199per month
For a site that is actively selling, where a problem costs you money the same day.
- Everything in Standard
- 1 hour of changes a week (4 hours a month)
- New pages and sections built as needed
- Quarterly review call and written report
- Search and analytics reporting
- Phone and email support, same working day
Prices exclude VAT. Pay for a year up front and it costs ten months rather than twelve. Plans are month to month with 30 days’ notice either way.
What you get either way
Every site I build is handed over with documentation and is yours outright. You are never locked in, and I will never hold a domain, a login or a set of files hostage. A care plan is there because most owners would rather not spend their evenings applying security updates, not because the site stops working without one.
If you would rather call on me only when something needs doing, that works too. Ad hoc work is quoted before it starts, so there is never a bill you did not agree to.
Common questions
- Am I tied in?
- No. Plans run month to month and you can stop with 30 days' notice. Nothing is on a 12 or 24 month contract.
- Who owns the website?
- You do, outright, from the day it is paid for. If you leave I export the site and hand over the files and the domain. There is no charge for that.
- What if I do not want a plan?
- That is fine. Every site is built to be handed over and run without me. Support is charged at an hourly rate as and when you need it instead.
- What counts as a change?
- Text edits, new photos, price and opening hours updates, adding a team member, swapping a PDF, small layout fixes. Anything larger I quote separately before starting.
- Do unused hours roll over?
- One month, so a quiet January can fund a busy February. They do not stack up indefinitely.
- Can I pay yearly?
- Yes, and it costs ten months rather than twelve.
Not sure which one
Tell me what the site does and how often it changes, and I will say which plan fits, including if the answer is none of them.
